FANDOM GIVES BACK

fandomgivesback is a community that seeks to connect those writers and artist who are willing to create fandom works in return for donations made to charities, even when there isn't a major disaster or fandom auction taking place.

I think this comm is such a great place to help others. It's also a fantastic opportunity for writers/artists to highlight important issues in their hearts. The charities I've chosen to support are RAINN (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network), Project Hope (Strengthening Global Health Care), and WWF (World Wildlife Fund). If you're interested in donating a small amount of cash to good causes, not to mention getting a customized fanwork in the process, please visit my post HERE!

I'm offering both fic and fanmixes (including art).

title stay with me, baby (i'm the fella you came in with)
fandom the avengers (2012)/thor (2011)
rating nc-17
pairing thor/loki, implied tony/darcy
summary it was thor's idea to join the avengers. that doesn't mean loki's got to like it.
warnings man on man lovin', language, violence
disclaimer i don't own the avengers; marvel does. i don't own marvel, disney does. basically, all i own is this laptop and these pop tarts...well, this laptop. the lyrics are from ol' blue eyes.
word count 8,000

author's note written for the incredibly lovely siiy because she's generous and wonderful and bought me for "fandom gives back". i hope you like this, hun! (ps: thank you for being so patient!)

author's note 2: the events of this story take place after the film "thor" with a few changes; loki never fell into space, the bifrost was never broken, and jane and thor never kissed. well, he kissed her on the hand, but he's a gentleman like that. i would also like to note that i do not have that much experience with the comics and everything i know of the avengers (i'm much more versed in x-men) comes from the films "thor", "iron man", "iron man 2", one collection of comics i mistakenly ordered from amazon, and a shit ton of fan fiction. all mistakes/inconsistencies are mine. a note on the boys' ages; i made thor five years older than loki purely for the fact that thor is the older brother, and it seems to be a good number. this is not (at least i think not) canon.

The moment Odin banished his first born, Loki pledged vengeance upon his father's House.Collapse )

title death is on me (still i see you)
fandom supernatural
rating nc-17
pairing vampire!dean/castiel
summary set right after 'live free or twihard'. dean, still a vampire, sneaks out and gets caught by an angel.
warnings man on man sexing, sex in public, light bdsm, bottom!dean, mention of soulless!sam, some fluff
disclaimer i do not own supernatural at all. they belong to sera gamble and eric kripke and the rest of the show rapists at the CW. the title is a lyric bastardization of a pearl and the beard song.
word count 3600

author's notes: this is written for my bestie! enjoy!

So back in school for my second quarter (yikes!) and still working at the same place. It's really friggin tough having to balance school, work, and my not-so-brimming social life (my internet personas and temporary gigs as shady mall Santas, not to mention). That pretty much calculates into no sleep whatsoever for Lexi-cakesdat's me!. However, there are a few bright spots in my days such as new episodes of "Sherlock" (currently watching the third one, omigosh!), fantastic fic authors who are uploading a .pdf file of my fav Dean/Cas fic to load onto my brand new totally used Kindle my mom gave me for Christmas (long story short, she got herself a sparkly new Nook, and tossed her old-ass Kindle down the Lexi rabbit hole...that's okay...it's still remarkably awesome since I can load ALL [well, when I say all, I mean any fics in .pdf format] my fics onto my device and can read dirty nasty man on man porn from the comfort of my very own Lightrail seat! What a world we live in! But it's all okay; just looking forward to my days off and such, and hopefully my next one (Friday) will be as memorably dull and useless as my last one....literally, I just sat in bed like a bump on a log and did pretty much nothing. It was glorious.

This is the first post of the New Year! Woahzies.

Just watched "The Scandal In Belgravia", the newest 'SHERLOCK' (BBC) episode. Way back in 2010, when I first saw the first series (thank you, iTunes), I thought It fucking sucks that I have to wait two more damn years to watch the next series. Thank you, Stephen Moffat. Fuck you very much, sir. But now 2012 is here and I take that back because it was WELL worth the wait.

Below, you'll find the top five reasons why the new series of "Sherlock" blew my hair back (literally...it looks like I was in a jet engine).

Be ye warned; if you have NOT seen the new series episode yet, you will be spoiled down below.

title: a fine romance
fandom: x-men au
pairing: remy/logan (gambit/wolverine)
summary: the cabin looks the exact same, just as the man behind the patio railing looks the exact same. not many things have changed, but remy has. remy has changed, for the better.
warnings: man on man sexing, language
disclaimer: x-men and anything affiliated with it belong to marvel (which now belongs to Disney, the bastards) and stan lee. i own nothing below. remy’s past is a mish-mash of the movies and the comics, with a little extra thrown in.
word count: 3800 ~

author’s notes: this was written for lmx_v3point3, who bought me for the Somalia Famine Auction. i’m so sorry it’s taken me this long to get your story up and running, dear, but i hope you enjoy it! let me know what you think, and i can fix anything you want.

I've just been watching "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" again (because it's fucking awesome), and does anyone ELSE see the slashy connection between Colonel Lennox and Sam?

Cuz woah.
